My Thoughts About the Book:
Carrie Turansky has done it again! She is truly the queen of Victorian historical fiction and did not disappoint with her newest book, “The Daughter of Highland Hall”. Rich with detail, intrigue, drama and snappy dialog between the characters you find yourself sitting inside the storyline along with beautiful Katherine Ramsey. After a life of balls and social outings it is the desire of young Katherine and her aunt to marry well.
This charming tale takes you inside the life of a débutante and her transition from spoiled rotten young woman to a woman who is passionately pursing God’s call on her life. Thrilling turn of events change the course of Katherine’s life and we are blessed to watch her choose between two completely different courses in her life. Truly a captivating tale of adventure and romance while staying true to the time period. I loved this book and can’t wait to see what comes next.
